Read in full, publishes no figure

33 named sources were read in full on the dates shown and print no usable figure. They are counted, never filled in.

Methodology

Every row is a verbatim sentence read from the named source's own page through the estate's fetch service on the date shown, hash-pinned to the stored read (the sha of the page's visible text; the raw page is mirrored to R2).

7 of the 40 named sources that could be read published a usable figure; 33 published none and are recorded as not published, never filled in; 4 could not be read (blocked, dead or unreachable) and count nowhere.

The headline figures (median, minimum, maximum, quartiles) are over ONE figure per source in GBP (a source's median where its page yielded several accepted sentences), so N counts sources, never sentences; 107 candidate sentence(s) were refused by a reviewer with the reason recorded.

Derivation as chartered: The rate every UK surveyor who publishes one, normalised to a single comparable unit - £ per foot of LOA - across four scopes (pre-purchase/full condition, insurance/condition, hull-only, and the statutory examinations: BSS, MCA coding, tonnage).

Nobody publishes this: each surveyor states their own scale, some per foot, some per metre, some as a worked example for a named vessel, some as a minimum fee, and the units and the VAT treatment differ firm by firm (several state they are not VAT-registered, which changes the comparison by a fifth).

The figures are the median, minimum and maximum £/ft per scope; the spread between the cheapest and dearest published rate; the count and share of surveyors who publish a rate versus quote per vessel; the £/ft by region; the minimum-fee floor that makes a small boat cost more per foot than a large one; and repriced-since the previous read, which is the news each spring when the season's fee guides turn over.

107 candidate sentences on these pages were refused by a reviewer; each refusal and its reason is recorded in the review ledger.
